VISIT TO WARD COLLECTION OF VETERAN AND VINTAGE CARS

Our thanks go to Toby and Daniel Ward for allowing the Silver Ghost Register to 'gate-crash' a private meeting and fantastic barbecue at Hollin Hall, Rippon held on behalf of the VCC to which Toby Ward will become President next year. 

 

Their selection of truly exceptional and interesting cars encompasses everything from late 1800 to the 1930, including two veteran and one vintage Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost and a tool-room copy of a Mercedes Patent Motorwagen, all housed in several purpose-built two-storey barns decorated with period automobilia and the largest veteran lamp collection I have ever seen, it is truly an amazing experience.  In addition to the cars, the Wards have a passion for early tractors and steam-powered traction engines, housed in another huge purpose-built shed while opposite are their fully equipped restoration workshops.
